Samsung launches the Q1 Ultra UMPC at $799 |

Ah yes - Samsung officially released the very cool second generation Samsung Q1 Ultra UMPC on May 7 (exactly one year after the introduction of the original Q1 UMPC) - and the improvements keep coming! In addition to the new design, the wonderful 1024x600 backlit screen, and the nice split QWERTY keyboard, the newest enhancement is the price - starting at a very reasonable $799 for this hot Vista-based handheld device. At that price, we're getting almost as cheap as a high end pocket pc - but with full PC power! You'll be able to find the Q1 Ultra just about everywhere, including Best Buy, Circuit City, and Amazon.
