11. I agree. Don't buy the set. I have two dark bands on both sides of the screen that run from the bottom to the top. When there is a dark scene you don't notice as much, however, when it's a light scene on the screen you can see the dark bands. I have had the set for two years. I would not buy this set!

12. TV finally went pop this morning. I was also getting the high pitched squeel noise and the rainbows. Bought it about 20 months ago. What a pile.

13. haha. i just found one at the dumpster and it looked brand new so i took it. in hopes of fixing it. the samsung website is useless. no suprise there. if i had known what everyone else on here knows i wouldnt have wasted 30 minutes of my life lugging it up the stairs. burn in hell samsung.

14. I have to agree with all the comments , rainbow colors on both side of the screen when going in the 16:9 format. High pitch noise on occasion after two years of ownership. I intend to go to small claims court and do something about it, we have here in Quebec the concept of a "legal warranty" on any goods.I hope that Samsung will do something for all the owner of that piece of s.....
