13. Well add me to the list of suckers! Control box dead 16 months after purchase. Doesn't even help that I am an electronics technician. The control box is $426 to replace, components on the boards aren't marked and Polaroid didn't distribute any schematic info that I can find. I will use the slow steady power of economics to boycott both Polaroid and Wal-Mart. If my $800 waste will lead to the demise of these two irresponsible behemoths then it was well spent.

14. The Polaroid I have had for just over one year and it took a crap. All the things I have read means that I an screwed, Thanks for a fine product Polaroid I will be sure to tell my frends all about you guys!

15. Well, I was robbed by Polaroid too. In Sept of 06' I bought an FLM-323B from them. It should have lasted 10 or 15 years. It didn't even last 2. Polaroid refuses to admitt that they have a problem with this model and now I am out over $900.00. It's really a shame, it seems like this is the way of American companies now. Make a cheap piece of junk, charge a fortune for it, hope it makes it through warranty, and to heck with the customer...just take the money and don't back up the product...sad

16. Lot of us in the same boat ! It's a shame that what used to be a good name (Polaroid) is now screwing consumers to the wall! I have TWO mod FLM 323B units and both have failed (no power) after just over one year of use. Pretty expensive lesson learned, but I have a Lonnnnnnnng memory !

17. I GOT THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY 37'LCD AND WENT THROUGH THE STEPS WITH CALLING CALL CENTER FINALLY GOT THEM TO GIVE ME THE POLAROID COPORATE NUMBER AND WAS AMAZED.COPORATE FIRST TOLD ME THAT YES IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND THE USUAL BS BUT I KEPT COMPLAINING AND THEY FINALLY AGREED TO SEND ME THE NEW PART FREE BUT I WOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR INSTALL. THIS WAS BETTER THAN CALL CENTER SINCE CALL CENTER ONLY COULD REPEAT THAT IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY AND I WOULD HAVE TO PAY 310.00 FOR PART HERE IS NUMBER FOR POLAROID COPORATE 1-800-605-5364 MABE THIS WILL HELP SOME ONE ELSE.

18. I've had my flm-323b for almost 2 years and the sound went on it today. After reading about how awful customer service is, I think I'll try a local repair service. No more Polaroid (more like hemorroid!) for me.

19. Okay...I'm back...I found that by using my computer speakers (temporarily,of course)plugged into the headphone jack actually works!! I will have to get much better quality speakers but it's more economical than a new tv! With gas prices the way they are, my "disposible income" is non existant! Hope I've helped someone else out there. ;-)

20. Never again will I ever own a Polaroid product!! My 32" TV was junk after 18 months. They should have stuck with instant cameras!! And.....I should have known better to by a TV from a camera company!!
