The Nokia N83 is positioned to be a powerhouse Symbian device, with expectations arising that it will include a large 2.5” QVGA screen, a 5 megapixel camera, MP3 player, and a 4GB hard drive. Based on Series 60 third edition and Symbian v9.1, the N83 will appeal to those looking for a high end camera phone, and a high end music player.
The 5 megapixel camera contains a Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus and integrated flash. The MP3 player is based on the 4GB hard drive, allowing for plenty of music, video and photo storage. Also included is an FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Nokia N83 also includes a front facing VGA camera for video calls, WiFi, Bluetooth, and a MicroSD slot.
Expectations are that the Nokia N83 will be shipping in early 2007. We can’t wait! Stay tuned for the latest information!
