The Nokia 5500 is a new breed of sports smartphone, containing a ruggedized rubber-grip shell, and allowing you to track your workout, as well as play music and talk on the phone.
The phone contains 3 modes, Phone, Music and Sports. In Sports mode you can use the integrated pedometer, track your workout, and utilize the phone抯 text to speech engine to tell you the status of your workout. In Music mode, the phone supports multiple audio formats, and allows for external memory cards up to 1GB.
The Nokia 5500 is a Tri-mode GSM phone, and also includes a 2 megapixel camera.
