Summary:
The Motorola KRZR K1 Cell Phone is Motorola’s much anticipated successor to their phenomenally successful RAZR, and we must say – Motorola has done a fantastic job with the Motorola KRZR. The KRZR maintains a very similar ultra-thin profile to the original RAZR, but now has a narrower body than the original RAZR, further improving the design and comfort level of the phone. The front of the KRZR has a very slick high gloss blue finish, and the back has a nice soft-touch finish. The KRZR features a very clear and bright 1.9 inch main display with 176x220 resolution, along with an outer display at 96x80 resolution.
The KRZR includes a well designed 2 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom – which can also capture and play back video at 15 fps. A music player is also included which supports MP3/AAC/AAC+ file formats, along with Blutooth and A2DP stereo.
A variety of wonderful extras come with the KRZR, including an enhanced phonebook, pre-loaded J2ME games and screen savers, and Screen 3 technology which allows sports scores and news to be automatically displayed when the phone is on standby.
The Motorola KRZR is as quad-band GSM phone. It measures 16mm x 42mm x 103mm, and weighs 103 grams. Battery life is rated at 3.25 to 6.5 hours of talk time, and 8.25 to 14.5 days of standby time.
Motorola is expected to release the KRZR in the second half of 2006 – and we can’t wait! Stay tuned for the latest information!
