Summary:

The Motorola KRZR K1m Cell Phone is Motorola’s much anticipated successor to their phenomenally successful RAZR, and we must say – Motorola has done a fantastic job with the Motorola KRZR. The KRZR K1m maintains a very similar ultra-thin profile to the original RAZR, but now has a narrower body than the original RAZR, further improving the design and comfort level of the phone. The K1m version of the KRZR cell phone supports CDMA (whereas the K1 version of the KRZR supports GSM).

The American version of the KRZR K1m has a pearl gray finish. The version of the K1m available in Asia has a nice black finish. The KRZR K1m features a very clear and bright 1.9 inch main display with 176x220 resolution, along with an outer display at 96x80 resolution. The version of the K1m available in Asia has a 2 inch main display with 240 x 320 resolution.

The KRZR K1m includes a 1.3 megapixel camera – which can also capture and play back video. A music player is also included which supports MP3/AAC/AAC+ file formats, along with external touch-sensitive music control buttons, and Blutooth support.

A variety of wonderful extras come with the KRZR, including an enhanced phonebook, pre-loaded J2ME games and screen savers, and Screen 3 technology which allows sports scores and news to be automatically displayed when the phone is on standby.

The Motorola KRZR K1m is a CDMA phone. It measures 17mm x 44mm x 103mm, and weighs 103 grams. Battery life is rated at up to 4 hours of talk time, and up to 18.25 days of standby time.

Motorola is expected to release the KRZR K1m in the second half of 2006 – and we can’t wait! Stay tuned for the latest information!

1. I love this phone. I had my doubts at first but after having it for several days it is awsome.

2. Aside from a few software problems which seem to handed down from the RAZR, the phone is fantastic.

3. I love it, but i can't make any of my mp3s into ringtones... I cut the songs in the music editor to the bit of the song I want, but once i download the song I can't make it my ringer :P

4. My K1m works nice, the ringer is not as loud as my 2.5 yr. old LG. The Viberator can not be used with the ringer [like my old LG, at least that is what verizon said]
Voice is very clear, better than my old phone, camera is wonderfull. BUT you have to pay to the photos out.
For free it is good, I would NOT buy one on the Verizon system

6. the k1m has a long list of problems: from being slow, to freezing up, to speaker and ring tone problems. I do NOT recommend it! I've had mine for 4 months and already the screen has stopped working.

8. I got this phone about a month ago..aside from the screen going black and not coming on I loved the phone. I have a program to make ringtones cut of any songs on my computer and make them ringtones!

9. Ya...the screen on my phone went black for no reason at all(And yes for all you morons who are thinking it) I did indeed check the all telling sticker, which read everything to be okie dokie...but alas...my screen and phone is dead so my rating would be like...a middle finger out of 5 stars?

10. DO NOT BUY!!! by all means. there are so many better phones out there. mine has completely crashed twice each. i bought two phones...both krzrs. they both would freeze and plash and then i would lose all information. DO NOT BUY
