A great reliable phone

The LG VX4500 is a pretty basic phone that performs well. I just purchased another one of these and had it activated on Verizon after my old LG VX3100 started to get poor reception after four years of use. Some nice features on the 4500 include voice command, speaker phone, color screen, and an external caller ID/time display. I live in a very rural area and the phone still gives me a great signal, something that my former phone didnt. If youre looking for a great phone that has every feature except a camera, check out the LG VX4500. Search ebay.com for great deals on this great phone!

Old but extremely reliable

I'm amazed that the other reviews I've read were so bad. The one I have now is over as year old and it works perfectly, The speakerphone is amazing, receptions great, It's survived drops off 15 foot balconies onto concrete with the exception of a few scratches. Other than that it's still exactly the same as it was a year ago

Had LG VX4500 for over a year now

And the phone works excellent. I consistently get a good reception from using verizon and the phone is everything it states it is.
I have voice activated dialing, speakerphone, handsfree talking if I use it (which I really don't). I even dropped the phone a few months ago and originally the outer LCD went out on me. But after a few days it magically came back on!
I've had none of the problems the other listers have posted about. It's been an excellent phone for me over the last year that I've owned it.

The worst piece of crap ever along with the Verizon customer service

I've had my this phone swapped 3 times. 2 of which were in the last 2 weeks. Verizon didn't want to replace the load of crap. The calls drop, the phone comes on and off at will, the screen goes black and the worst of all it stops ringing intermittently. This is just awful. Save your self a headache get a motorolla.

this cell phone is a hunk of junk the color on the screen si anything but lucios and the screen is tiny
a huge flaw is the fact that if you call someone ocassionaly it will just ecko what you say and you cant hear the other person.
GET SAMSUNG THEY ARE WAY BETTER THAN THIS HNK OF TRASH!!!!!!!!!
