1. If you buy this pc plan on spending another $100-$200 to increase the RAM. I purchased this PC yesterday and while it does run, it does so barely. 512MB just isn't enough for Vista, even Vista basic. Also, you might want to reconsider activating the included Norton trial. Did an initial Windows update after first boot - all went well. Later on activated Norton, now Windows updates fail. So beware!

3. Just got this a few days ago. Found a sale on ram for 2 gbs for 80 bucks. Raised my memory rating from vista 3.1 - 4.9 now im just gonna get a video card.. Dont be discourage from buying this computer.. The motherboard it comes with DOES SUPPORT core2duo proccessors so it is upgradeable for this cheap price.. Save money from buying separate case/hd/os/ect... The chipset is a I945G/GZ its not the best or greatest but it is upgradeable...

6. This desktop seems good, but it does need more RAM, problem is, what type am I looking for? 120-pin PC2? I can't find it! Can someone help me? I took it out, took pictures, counted the gold-pins (64+56=120-pins). Everything online is DDR and DDR2 of 180 or 240 pins. Can you point me in the direction to get 2GB for $80? Thanks!

7. Never mind, I found the RAM at a website that was excellent to match the right type of memory for any system and it educated me that it is a 240-pin "DDR2 PC2-4200 • CL=4 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-533 • 1.8V • 128Meg x 64". If you are interested it's www.crucial.com. I got the 2GB kit for $61.61 ($3.62 was tax) and free s/h. I was amazed HALO worked even without the memory nor video card upgraded. Now I can't wait to get the memory. Thanks though.
