The HP 500 features an Intel Pentium M 770 2.13GHz processor, 60GB Ultra ATA/133 (ATA-7) 5400 rpm hard drive, and 14.1" WXGA Widescreen Active Matrix TFT Color LCD display screen. It includes 512MB standard memory, and 1GB maximum memory.
With a DVD-Writer (Double-layer) - DVD-RAM/±R/±RW optical drive, the HP 500 also features the Windows XP Home with SP2 operating system, an Intel PRO/100 VE 10/100Mbps Fast Ethernet IEEE 802.3u network interface, and an Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG 54Mbps Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g Mini PCI Type IIIb Integrated network interface.

1. This Laptop has the Centrino M Processor not the Dual Core newer CPU, and comes loaded with XP, not Vista. With only 512Mb RAM, probably won't run your favourite games (or Vista) but it's great for a portable desktop replacement for a mobile warrior on the go. And it will play and record DVD's in wide screen format.

3. my webpage is showing proper in 1024*768 & 1280*768, but the same is not proper in 1280*720 display resolution, why?
