1. My son received this as a Christmas gift from his uncle out of state. The battery has never taken the charge, I assumed that it was under warranty because I registered it on the Audiovox website but without a receipt the warranty is void. Basically the player only works when it is plugged into an outlet. I would not recommend this faulty product and the customer service was downright rude.

3. I had the same problem with the battery. After 2 months of low charge time, the battery wouldn't hold a charge at all. I was told that batteries aren't covered under warranty. I found this shocking because at a price of $180 for the player or sometimes you can find them cheaper(I didn't at the time-my mother in law bought it), the replacement battery found on audiovox's website is $80! So, almost half of the cost of the dvd player and you don't cover it? What a poor way to do business. If you can't stand behind your product, why bother having one? I won't be buying any Audiovox products ever. I'll stick with better quality brands in the future.

4. We used this DVD player maybe three times before it just completely stopped working. The battery will not hold a charge and it will not even turn on when it is plugged in. I will never buy another Audiovox product unless something changes and it miraculously starts working.
